Having nearly come to the end of my pack of field notes, I'm in the market for a new set of notebooks. I don't really write much down but I want (need) to start getting in to the habit of doing so. The prime example was last week, I was in a meeting and didn't take one note, leaving me and Jake (another third of Forged Motif) trying to remember what it was that had been said. Having a nice notebook/pad really helps remember to take your notebook everywhere you go. Mirth & Co is made up of a bookbinder and a designer, giving the notebook both style and substance. The biggest selling factor for me is that each one is handmade, even down to hand sewing the bind. For me, products feel better when they are handmade and somebody has took care and attention to get your product right.
Pledging some cash on their KickStarter can guarantee you get some when they are to be released!
Love the look of the notebooks, but have never seen them in a shop around somewhere.
