At some point last year I thought I needed £150 in my life more than this bike. These shots were taken to put the bike on Ebay, but before I attempted to sell, I thought I better fix the stuck seat post. Extremely long story (8 months in fact) short, Halfords destroyed it... I was selling it because I was moving out of the city and I didn't see a need for a single speed and due to the recent purchase of a road bike, I thought I could do with £150.
It did have a racing green Brooks saddle which made it look even better, but apart from that I miss it... Just recently i've been looking at what road bike to buy next, looking at the obvious BMC, Colnago, Specialized etc. I came up with the idea that I would reincarnate this bike with Condors 'Bike Builder' using the Acciaio frame. This will let me choose the exact same colour scheme as this beauty. This won't be for a long time yet with the total price edging towards £3,000.
Moral of the story? £150 will cost you £3000.
